A BRIERLEY Hill woman has been handed a community order and hit with a hefty court bill after admitting assaulting two police officers.

Leanne Bloomer, of Landmark at The Waterfront, pleaded guilty to assaulting two police constables in an incident in Cradley on July 8.

The 46-year-old was handed a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement when sentenced at Dudley Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday August 9.

She was also ordered to pay compensation of £150 in total plus a £114 surcharge to fund victim services and costs of £185 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
