An aircraft fuselage is being transported along the M5 this morning (Thursday, August 11).
Gloucestershire police are warning motorists about the abnormal load, which is being escorted from Kemble Airfield and travelling on the M5 northbound.
From 9.30am roads policing staff have been escorting an aircraft fuselage, which is 5.8 metres wide.
It was planned to travel from Kemble Airfield onto the A429, A419, A417 and then join the M5 at 11a northbound to travel through Worcestershire and the Black Country to its destination in Manchester.
This is expected to cause traffic delays and police have advised people to use alternative routes where possible.
