IT was full-speeed ahead for Kinver Auto Club as they hosted the first moto-cross meeting of the year at Pattingham in the West Midlands group last weekend.
As usual both riders and spectators turned out in force not deterred by the cold February temperatures and all were treated to a feast of competitive and exciting racing.
Unusually Kinver riders only managed three trophies out of the 24 on offer. New Kinver boy Louis Hill in the MX 2 senior class came out on top, not scoring in the first moto but more than made up for it in the following two picking up maximum points for 30 points and first overall.
Craig Chamberlain carried on where he left off last year scoring 36 points in the MX 1 experts. Another new Kinver rider Jack Cox picked up third overall in the MX2 experts scoring 26 points after nearly not riding at all following a heavy crash in practice leaving him battered and bruised.
