MEMBERS of a borough-based martial arts centre are celebrating after one of their kick-boxing instructors claimed a brilliant British double.
Shaun Bradley, who trains and teaches at the Charlesworth Martial Arts School in Old Hill, won the British Light Contact WAKO Championship as well as being named the Points Fighting British WAKO Champion.
The 18-year-old won the prestigious titles at Harvey Hadden Leisure Centre, Nottingham.
Shaun will be competing again on March 9 in Stourbridge when he attempts to win the ISKA UK British title.
Bradley trains under the guidance of Great Britain team manager Jason Charlesworth, who has been delighted with his attitude to the sport.
He said: " Shaun has a great future in the sport, he is a credit to his parents who bring him to train each day and take him around the country to compete.
"He's a valuable member of the Charlesworth Martial Arts School and a role model for all the aspiring youngsters at the school."
