THREE homes are set to be built on green belt land in Belbroughton.

Plans have been passed for three dormer bungalows on land to the rear of Hartle Lane.

Each bungalow will include a hall, kitchen/living room, garage, bedroom, study and services rooms on the ground floor and two bedrooms with ensuites on the first floor.

Outline planning permission was granted on March 31 last year, but plans have now been fully passed for the development.

When constructed the development will be accessed by a private drive from Hartle Lane.

In a design and access statement accompanying the application, it states: “It [the development] will function well and add to the overall quality of the area, not just for the short term but over the lifetime of the development.”

The statement goes on to note that the development “is sympathetic to local character and history, including the surrounding built environment and landscape setting.”
