THE traffic lights at Oldswinford Cross have been damaged in a crash, causing traffic chaos.

Repairs to the lights at the junction of Hagley Road and Heath Lane are expected to take till the end of the week, after one traffic light column was knocked down in a crash.

Motorists driving through the junction are being advised to allow more time for their journeys.

A spokesman for Dudley Council said that "to safely control traffic through the area a lane closure has been implemented on the northbound approach to Stourbridge."

They added: "Whilst repair works are estimated to be completed this week, it is likely that congestion in the area will be increased whilst the temporary traffic management is in place and drivers are encouraged to allow more time to travel through this area."
