A NUMBER of Brierley Hill streets will be closed to traffic overnight this week while road surfacing is carried out.
High Street, Mill Street, Cottage Street and Moor Street will be temporarily closed on Thursday February 23 until Friday February 24, with the closure in place from 7pm to 5am each day.
Brierley Hill High Street will be closed from Church Street to Moor Street and from Moor Street to Pearson Street; Cottage Street will be closed from High Street to Little Cottage Street; Mill Street will be closed from High Street to Venture Way; Moor Street will be closed from High Street to Albion Street.
Traffic will be diverted via Moor Street, Hawbush Road, Brettell Lane, Church Street, Venture Way, Level Street, High Street and vice versa.
Highways chiefs have ordered the temporary closures so that road surfacing works can take place safely.
