COMEDY stage hypnotist Robert Temple is bringing his stage show to Brierley Hill this weekend as part of a UK tour.

The upbeat performer has hypnotised more than 20,000 people in more than 2,000 performances – from Las Vegas to London – over the past 15 years.

Having recently completed a successful run of performances at the Edinburgh Fringe – he’s now set to bring his comedy show to Brierley Hill Civic Hall on Sunday April 16.

Robert spent his childhood watching performers at the Sunderland Empire, where his dad worked, and - inspired by his hero Paul Daniels – he became a top young magician.

But when he was a teenager magic lost its appeal and so he turned to hypnosis.

He said: “The audience knows what’s in store when they buy a ticket and nobody is hypnotised against their will. It’s an evening where people can forget all about their inhibitions – literally.”
