POLICE have urged owners of keyless vehicles to take precautions to protect their motors after a Range Rover was stolen in Belbroughton.
The black Range Rover was snatched from the village’s High Street at around 7.50pm on Thursday April 27, without keys.
Luckily, police said, it was equipped with a tracker and was recovered swiftly afterwards.
Hagley and Rubery PC Marc Ginder highlighted the incident in a neighbourhood alert and urged owners of keyless vehicles to consider equipping themselves with a signal blocking pouch for the main fob and spare and to fit a quality steering wheel lock to their vehicle to deter thieves.
