STOURBRIDGE streets will be closed to traffic temporarily this week while road resurfacing takes place.
Stepping Stones, Bedcote Place and Pebble Close will be closed to motorists from Tuesday May 2 until Friday May 5, from 9.30am to 3.30pm each day.
Stepping Stones will be closed from Birmingham Street to Junction Road and the entire length of both Bedcote Place and Pebble Close will be closed to drivers.
Traffic for Stepping Stones will be diverted via: Birmingham Street, St John’s Road, Hagley Road, Church Road and Junction Road; or via Junction Road, Hungary Hill and Birmingham Street There are no diversion routes for Bedcote Place or Pebble Close.
Highways chiefs said the closures are necessary to enable carriageway resurfacing to take place safely.
