STOURBRIDGE animal lovers are invited to join in the celebrations at the RSPCA’s One Fun Day, which will be held at locations across England and Wales.

Residents from Stourbridge are invited to join the RSPCA for a day of animal-themed fun at this year’s event.

Dozens of events will be happening simultaneously across England and Wales to help raise vital funds for RSPCA’s branches and animal centres and help all of the animals in their care.

The Stourbridge branch will be holding a stall at the Wolverley car boot sale on Saturday June 17 and people are invited to attend and find out more about the branch and work they do for animals in the area.

The event will be from 11am until 4pm at the St Barnabas Community Hall, Wolverley Road, Kidderminster, DY11 5JW.

A spokesperson for the branch said: “We are really excited to be part of the One Fun Day event and we hope that our supporters, their families and animal lovers will come along on the day.

“Events like these are vital fundraising events for our branch and help to raise money which will be used directly to help animals.

“We hope that animal lovers will be able to join us on the day and we really look forward to seeing everyone.”

For more information about the day, visit the branch Facebook page or the RSPCA’s main website.

An event will also be held at the RSPCA Birmingham Animal Centre and will include a mini dog show, children’s activities, craft stalls, a tombola, raffle and refreshments.

It will run from 11am until 3pm at the Newbrook Farmhouse Education Centre in Frankley Green, Frankley, Birmingham B32 4AX.
