TWO people have been arrested after a police chase across Halesowen and Stourbridge.
West Midlands Police officers, with support from the National Police Helicopter, pursued a suspected stolen car which was spotted in Halesowen and eventually came to a halt in Stourbridge.
The police helicopter was seen hovering over the Amblecote area of Stourbridge and police eventually found the vehicle in Coalbourn Lane just before 5pm.
A man and women, both in their 20s, were arrested.
A police spokesperson said: “A 23-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were arrested and remain in police custody this evening as enquiries continue.”
A spokesperson for the National Police Air Service said: “A National Police Air Service crew from the NPAS Birmingham base were deployed to the Halesowen area at about 4.40pm on Monday September 18, to assist West Midlands Police in the search for a possible stolen vehicle.”
