TWO further countryside plots of land on the edge of Stourbridge and Hagley are being offered up for auction.

At last month’s auction, hosted by Bond Wolfe Auctions, a 7.4-acre plot on the corner Pedmore Hall Lane and Hagley Road went under the hammer for £242,000.

Now two more green belt plots are up for sale – and are among the lots listed for BWA’s next livestreamed auction on Thursday October 26, starting at 9am.

The first is a parcel of land off Pedmore Lane, extending to almost 10 acres, which has a guide price of £89,000+.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, said: “This is a relatively rectangular parcel of land, extending to approximately 9.91 acres, which may be suitable for a variety of uses, subject to obtaining the necessary planning consents.

“All interested parties should make their own enquiries to the local planning authority; Dudley Council.”

Another plot of land, off Pedmore Hall Lane, which extends to 1.04 acres, is also being offered up for sale, with a guide price of £10,000+.

Mr Bassi added: “Here we have another freehold parcel of land, irregular in shape, which may be suitable for a variety of uses subject to obtaining the necessary planning consents.

“Their location will make both this plots highly attractive to developers and investors seeking sites with potential and we expect highly competitive bidding on the day of the sale.”

Both plots, which are described as having development potential, are being put up for sale by Bond Wolfe Securities - the auctioneers confirmed.

It is not yet known whether the land will be listed as suitable for future development in the Dudley Local Plan, which is set to be presented to Dudley Council’s cabinet towards the end of October following a decision last November to abandon the Black Country Plan.
