THE closure of Stourbridge's Tesco car park is causing "pandemonium" in the town.
The multi-storey car park at Stourbridge's Tesco extra is closed yesterday morning (Saturday October 7) for "essential maintenance" and remained closed this morning - (Sunday October 8).
A user on The Old Quarter Stourbridge Facebook page said of the closure: "It’s absolute pandemonium in Stourbridge."
The car park, which offers two hours free parking to anyone, is closed for maintenance with no timescale as to when it will be back open.
A Tesco Spokesperson said: “The car park at our Stourbridge Extra is closed for essential maintenance work.
"We're working to get it back open as soon as possible and we apologise for the inconvenience."
