Police have launched an appeal after a man was racially abused and assaulted in Sedgley earlier this year.

West Midlands Police said a man was in the fields of Beacon Hill near Beacon Lane at 4pm on June 10 when another man began racially abusing him.

The man then allegedly punched him in the face before making off on an electric bike.

An appeal for information has now been launched with police calling on those who might recognise the man in the images to come forward.

West Midlands Police said: “If you can help call 101 or use the Live Chat on our website quoting crime number 20/509375/23.”
