POLICE have appealed for information and residents warned to be vigilant after reports of suspicious behaviour in the Old Quarter of Stourbridge.
Two men wearing hoodies were seen jumping over fences to access the rear gardens of two homes in Cleveland Street in the early hours of Friday morning (October 27).
The incident happened at around 2am and the men were seen exiting and returning to a five-door white vehicle, believed to be an Audi, near to the Garibaldi pub.
Police have asked anyone with any information or CCTV footage from the area at the time to get in touch.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We received a report of suspicious behaviour in the early hours of Friday morning (October 27) on Cleveland Street, Stourbridge.
“It is understood two men climbed over neighbouring fences to access rear gardens.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact us via LiveChat on our website or call 101 quoting 4291 of 27/10/2023.”
