A MAN was attacked and robbed in Wollaston by balaclava-wearing assailants in broad daylight.
The man was targeted on Firmstone Street at around 1.30pm on Saturday (November 4).
He suffered an injury to his hand after being assaulted by two men, one who was wearing a balaclava.
They stole his car keys in the frightening incident.
Police are investigating and have appealed for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to Firmstone Street, Wollaston at around 1.30pm on Saturday (4 Nov) after a man was assaulted and robbed.
"Two males, one wearing a balaclava, stole the victim's car keys and assaulted him causing a minor injury to his hand.
"Officers have spoken to witnesses and are appealing for anyone with any information, specifically any dashcam or CCTV footage, to get in touch with us by calling 101 or via LiveChat on our website quoting 20/960310/23."
