THE Mary Stevens Hospice in Stourbridge is running its ‘Make a Will Month’ campaign this November, giving people chance to write or revise their will at a reduced rate - helping to raise funds for the charity too.
The hospice has partnered with local will writers and solicitors to run the popular campaign for the second time this year.
King Will’s Will, Wall James Chappell and Talbots Law have partnered with the hospice for the campaign.
Alex Winstanley, trusts, foundations and legacies manager at the hospice, said: “Make a Will Month is a fantastic opportunity to update or write your will, which is one of those jobs that we all know we need to do but far too easily put off.
"Having a will, and making sure it is up to date, is incredibly important. No matter your age or health, your will ensures that your wishes are met and loved ones are taken care of.”
Single wills are £90 and double wills are £150 through the initiative, with half of the fees donated to hospice to help with its £3.5 million annual running costs.
People do not need to write a will in November, just register interest during the month to receive the discount on the Will writing service.
