AN application for a licence to serve alcohol at a new café in Stourbridge has been submitted to the council’s licensing department.

Edward Stringfellow has applied for a premises licence to supply alcohol for consumption at CUP in Coventry Street between 8am and 11.30pm, Monday to Sunday; for the provision of late night refreshments Monday to Sunday 11pm to 11.30pm and for the performance of recorded or live music between 11pm and midnight, Monday and Sunday.

An online summary of the application can be viewed on the licensing section on Dudley Council’s website dudley.gov.uk.

People are invited to their say on the plan by writing to the interim director of Public Realm, Licensing Services, Unit 1 Hurst Business Park, Narrowboat Way, Brierley Hill, DY5 1UF by Thursday December 7.

The coffee shop, which offers brunch and aims to serve craft beer, cocktails and street food pop-ups, opened earlier this month.
