WINTER wonderland themed Christmas event with chance to see Santa will be returning to Amblecote this weekend.
The event will take place on Withymoor Playing Fields, in Turners Lane, from midday until 6pm this coming Saturday (December 9).
It will include market stalls, a variety of food vans, a bar, Santa’s grotto and an appearance by popular Christmas character Grinch.
The event has been organised by the three ward councillors for Amblecote - Kamran Razzaq, Paul Bradley and Pete Lee – Dudley’s Deputy Mayor.
Santa’s grotto will be open from 1pm.
Councillor Kamran Razzaq said: “With a lot of open spaces in Amblecote we like to hold events so residents can enjoy the area. This year we have Santa, the Grinch and elves in attendance so our little residents will enjoy it.”
Although rain has been forecast for most of the week, Cllr Razzaq said the event would go ahead “whatever the weather”.
