POLICE have been carrying out checks on motorists on Stourbridge ring road as part of efforts to crack down on festive drink drivers.
Officers from West Midlands Police were out in force on Friday evening (December 22) stopping drivers heading home as part of a seasonal operation.
Police were spotted asking for ID and whether motorists had been drinking on the evening after the final working day for many before the Christmas holiday season.
