HIGHWAYS chiefs have temporarily closed Stour Vale Road in Lye due to a water leak.
The road is expected to be closed to traffic until Friday February 23 while repair work takes place.
The closure runs from the junction of Bromley Street to in just front of KDR Resin Systems Ltd.
Motorists are being diverted along Bromley Street, The Hayes, Hayes Lane and vice versa.
Dudley Council’s highways department has ordered the restriction to enable workers to safely fix a water pipe.
