HIGHWAYS bosses have confirmed a Kingswinford street will be closed to traffic for more than a week due to a gas leak.
Back Road is expected to be partly closed from number 1 to 5 until Monday March 4.
The road had been due to reopen by Monday February 26 but the restriction is now expected to be in place for a further week, Dudley Council's traffic department has confirmed.
A diversion has been put in place with motorists diverted via Moss Grove, Waterford Road, Penzer Street and vice versa.
The temporary road closure has been ordered to enable workers to safely repair a gas leak, the council's highways team said.
