STOURBRIDGE Road, Lye, will be temporarily closed to traffic overnight on Monday night while engineers carry out a bridge inspection.
The main road will be closed from the junction of Timmis Road to the junction of Stambermill Close, from 10pm on Monday March 18 to 6am on Tuesday March 19.
Traffic will be diverted via Pedmore Road, Grange Lane, Ham Lane, Hagley Road, New Road, Bath Road, St Johns Road, Birmingham Street and vice versa.
Dudley’s highways chiefs have ordered the closure to enable a bridge examination to be carried out.
