A DRIVER who told police he chose to get behind the wheel without insurance because it "cost too much" has had his car seized.
Officers stopped the Peugeot 207 on Cinder Bank in Netherton yesterday (Monday March 18).
The driver's lack of insurance proved to be a costly choice in the end, as the car was taken away.
Brierley Hill police tweeted: "This vehicle came to our attention in Cinder Bank.
"We stopped the vehicle and found the driver had no insurance policy.
"He chose to drive without it because it cost too much.
"Vehicle recovered and driver reported."
