DUDLEY’S highways chiefs have temporarily closed Parkfield Road in Stourbridge while a cable fault is repaired.
The road will be closed from the junction of Mount Road to number 13b until Monday April 8, Dudley Council’s traffic department confirmed.
A diversion route has been set up – directing motorists via Vauxhall Road, Foster Street East, Birmingham Street, St Johns Road, Hagley Road and Church Street.
The council said the closure has been required to enable workers to safely repair a low voltage cable fault.
