IT'S that time of the year once again where bluebells are beginning to spring up all over the Worcestershire countryside.

Those who enjoy a walk in the woods, or even your local park, may come across these beautiful flowers.

Visit Worcestershire has named some of the best places to spot the flowers. Here is a list of places to visit to view blue bell displays.

 

Malvern Hills

The Malvern Hills are regarded as one of the best places to see the flowers.

Visit Worcestershire says from mid-April the "delicate blue flowers bloom in their thousands".

They have advised people to go to Jubilee Drive, which is accessible via a short walk from Black Hill car park, to see the flowers.

 

Tiddesley Wood

Tiddesley Wood is known for its impressive meadows of flowers this time of year.

Visit Worcestershire says that the wood "carpeted with bluebells each spring, creating plenty of picture-perfect moments."

 

Clent Hills

A popular walking spot all year round, Clent Hills is another great place to see bluebells in the Spring.

It has been said that the "rolling hills of Clent transform into a breathtaking sea of colour."

People can park at Nimmings Wood car park and see the display after a walk into the woods.

 

Uffmoor Wood

Uffmoor Wood is located on the border of Worcestershire and is managed by the woodland trust.

The ancient woodland, near Clent Hills, been described as a "beautiful destination" for seeing bluebells in full bloom.

 

Shrawley Wood

Shrawley Wood has been described as a hotspot for the flowers by Visit Worcestershire.

They said it's "famous for its display of bluebells and wildflowers."

They recommend visiting the woods towards the end of April and into May to see the display.
