LUCKILY no-one was hurt after a crash that left a busy road at Stourton closed yesterday afternoon (Sunday May 12).
The incident, involving a van and a car, happened at the junction of Chester Road and Cote Lane, just past The Fox pub, just after 2pm.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent an ambulance to the scene but luckily no-one was in need of medical assistance.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service said of the incident: “We were called to reports of a collision between a car and a van near to the junction of Chester Road and Cote Lane at 2.06pm yesterday.
“On arrival we discovered a woman, from the car, who was assessed and discharged at the scene. The driver of the van did not wish to be assessed.”
