A MAN has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash in Amblecote.
The 29-year-old man was hurt when a car hit parked cars on Amblecote High Street just after midnight today (Sunday May 19).
A 30-year-old man who presented himself at hospital a few hours after the crash has been arrested for causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He remains in hospital for treatment to serious injuries to his hand and arm, a police spokesperson said.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
The road was closed while investigations continued, but has since reopened.
