A MAN has been arrested after a stabbing was reported in Kinver at the weekend.
Police and paramedics were alerted to the incident in White Hill in the early hours of Sunday (July 21).
The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital but was in a stable condition today, police said this afternoon.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said of the incident: “We were called to reports of a man being stabbed on White Hill at 2.30am yesterday morning (Sunday July 21).
“The victim was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
“A 21-year-old man, from Kinver, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of Section 18 – wounding with intent.
“He has been released on conditional bail as our enquiries continue.”
Police have appealed for CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area at the time.
