POLICE have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a property in Lye in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday August 6).
The incident happened just before 2am in Cross Walks.
A man is said to have fired shots at the property but luckily no one was hurt.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We are investigating after shots were fired at a property on Cross Walks, Lye, just before 2am this morning (August 6).
"It is understood a man fired at the property and fled the scene on foot towards Belmont Road.
"Damage was caused to an upstairs window but fortunately no one was injured.
"Officers are carrying out enquiries such as reviewing CCTV footage and forensically examining the area.
"Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact us via Live Chat on our website or call 101 quoting 298 of August 6."
