A TEENAGER has been charged with wounding after a stabbing in Brierley Hill.
An 18-year-old man was found with stab wounds in the High Street at around 6.30pm on Thursday (October 10).
A 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old woman were arrested following initial enquiries and taken into custody.
West Midlands Police have today issued an update and said the boy has now been charged with wounding and possession of an offensive weapon.
He was remanded to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (Saturday October 12).
The woman has been bailed with conditions while enquiries continue.
The injured man remains in hospital with injuries, which are not life-threatening, police confirmed.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We've increased reassurance patrols in the area but we're not currently looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.”
Police, however, continue to appeal for information and have urged people to get in touch via Live Chat on the force website, or call 101, quoting 4454 of October 10.
