BELOVED chocolate giant, Cadbury, has launched a new range of bars with a mission to get people sharing.

But the new designs have spawned dozens of memes with one taking off that centres on the Midlands and its unique dialect.

Each bar in the new Cadbury Dairy Milk range is designed to make sharing with others easy, with each wrapper indicating which portion of the treat should be shared with who.

The 12 designs include labels like “Who drove, who navigated and who slept” along with “Who cooked, who cleaned and who ate”.

The new designs have proved popular on social media, with many memes emerging poking fun at the polar opinions people in the UK hold about certain things.

A bar which was split into “It’s a cob, it’s a bap and it’s a roll”, poking fun at the varying names for *a certain type of bread* in the West Midlands, racked up thousands of views on social media.

Unfortunately, it is not one of the 12 for sale, however, it is a great reminder of the interesting dialect differences within the region.

The 12 designs Cadbury did launch came after the brand conducted a study of 2,000 adults to find out how generous us Brits are every day.

The study, carried out through OnePoll, found while 25 per cent of us are guilty of forgetting to be thankful, 87 per cent agree it’s never too late to thank somebody for their generosity.

Cadbury also found that one good deed really does deserve another, with 41 per cent agreeing such acts create a ripple effect of positivity benefitting everyone.

According to the survey, in the West Midlands, the most common act of kindness was holding open a door for someone else, with 60 per cent of people saying they did this every day.

46 per cent of people in the region said they do the washing up every day, another 46 per cent said they give directions to others and 39 per cent said they tidy something off the floor on a daily basis.

Cadbury’s survey found that 95 per cent of people appreciate it when someone does something helpful for them – even if it is something as small as bringing them a cup of tea.

Connor Gould, Cadbury Dairy Milk Brand Manager, said: "We all know those unsung heroes who make our lives a little brighter – the ones who book the flights, remember everyone's birthdays, or simply do the weekly food shop.

“Our research has shown that sharing really is caring, and our new bars are a fun and delicious way to share a little appreciation with those generous people.

“Sometimes it really is just simple moments of gratitude, including sharing a chocolate bar, that matters the most to others and are the perfect way to show you care.”

The new range of sharing bars is rolling out onto shelves in major retailers nationwide (we just wish the memes were real!)
