COUPLES in the borough could be in with a chance of winning a wedding ceremony as a stunning Grade II listed venue opens its doors this weekend.
The Thomas Robinson Building in Stourbridge will be hosting an open day and wedding fayre, showcasing everything from wedding flowers and photographers to cars and wedding stationery.
There will be demonstration marriage ceremonies along with displays about extras, while registrars will be on hand to answer questions and take bookings.
Dudley Registrars are holding the event at the stunning historic venue tomorrow (October 11) from 11am until 3pm.
Couples attending will be able to enter a free prize draw to be in with a chance of winning a wedding ceremony at the venue in Cemetery Road.
Councillor Ed Lawrence, cabinet member for transformation, said: “Our open days are a great chance for couples to have a look around our wonderful Grade II listed venue and see what other services we have on offer to help them plan their special day.
“There will also be a number of exhibitors joining us and, of course, one lucky couple will come away from the day with a free wedding ceremony.”
