STOURBRIDGE in Bloom is inviting the community to its annual plant sale next month.

An array of plants will be for sale in Fountain Square at The Ryemarket on Saturday May 2 from 10am till 2pm, or until the plants are all sold.

In Bloom spokesperson Brenda Stevenson said: "The plants are donated by gardening folk who have been nurturing cuttings and splitting up their favourite plants to give you a bargain and to raise funds for us.

"Every pound that is raised goes to pay for the compost and flowers to make Stourbridge a beautiful town to be proud of.

"Stourbridge in Bloom is made up of volunteers led by David Harcourt, we all work hard to make a good floral show that brightens up our town and cheers us all up."

The sale will be outside near Boots.
