Families are invited to a day of fun, community spirit, and celebration.
The Wordsley Family Fun Day returns for its third year on Sunday July 12, taking place at King George V Park from 12pm to 5pm as part of the Black Country Festival.
This free event promises something for everyone with a packed programme of entertainment and activities for all ages.
Councillor Kerry Lewis, organiser of the event, said: "The event has grown year on year and has become a wonderful opportunity for families, residents, local groups and businesses to come together, celebrate our community, and enjoy a fun-filled day.
"There will be something for everyone to enjoy.
"I would like to thank the Friends of Wordsley Parks volunteers, community groups, sponsors and everyone involved in organising the event for their hard work and commitment in making it possible.
"I encourage residents from across Wordsley and beyond to come along, support local organisations and enjoy what promises to be another fantastic day for the whole family."
Highlights include the Thomas Jones Fun Fair, a dog show, pony rides, bouncy castles, and face painting.
Visitors can also enjoy live entertainment, community group demonstrations, craft and community stalls, food and drink vendors, and a display of classic cars.
There will be the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, mascot appearances, and live coverage from Black Country Radio throughout the afternoon.
The day will be officially opened by the Mayor of Dudley at 12.30pm, followed by a performance from Bhangra Smash Up.
The event is supported by the Black Country Festival, Friends of Wordsley Parks, local volunteers, community groups, and organisations.
