A LYE opticians is marking its 24th anniversary by unveiling a fully refurbished practice and upgraded eye care facilities for patients.
Special Looks Opticians, on Lye High Street, has completed a major refurbishment to create a more modern, welcoming setting for patients from Lye, Stourbridge and the surrounding areas.
The independent practice now combines contemporary design with upgraded clinical technology, including OCT eye scans, dry eye assessments and a wider range of specialist eye care services.
Owned and run by optometrist Daniel Wright, Special Looks has built its reputation on personalised care, taking time to understand each patient’s vision and overall eye health.
Mr Wright said: "We wanted to create a practice that reflects the standard of care we provide every day.
"This investment allows us to offer a more comfortable experience for patients while expanding our clinical services and introducing the latest technology to help detect eye conditions at their earliest stages."
Improvements include a fully modernised interior designed with patient comfort in mind, advanced OCT imaging equipment, dedicated facilities for diagnosing and treating dry eye, an expanded eyewear display and better accessibility and flow through the building.
A spokesperson said: "As an independent practice, Special Looks Opticians remains committed to delivering a personal approach to eye care, free from sales targets and focused on what is best for each patient."
Patients can book NHS and private eye tests, contact lens assessments, dry eye consultations and other specialist services at the revamped practice.
