At the August meeting of the West Midland Fuchsia Society, in The Memorial Club, Bradley Street, Pensnett, the members were treated to a slide show and a talk by Geoff Smith.
Geoff had slides of various shows he has been to around the country and gave do’s and don’ts on presentation when showing.
After a break and raffle, he continued with slides of the orchid gardens in Singapore, and magnificent gardens at the base of Table Top Mountain in South Africa. He ended the night with a garden in the centre of Sydney, Australia.
The next meeting is on Thursday September 11 at 7.30pm and will be a complete contrast when the talk will be about birds. Admission free and all are welcome to come along.
