STOURBRIDGE thespians are putting the finishing touches to their forthcoming comedy production.
Enville Street Dramatic Society is staging Shut Your Eyes and think of England at St Thomas’s Church Hall in Market Street, Stourbridge, from Tuesday November 17 to Saturday 21.
The play by John Chapman and Anthony Marriott was written in 1978, but has been updated for today’s audience.
Characters include a business man, a politician, a sheik and an expensive call girl - who, mixed together with two unsuspecting wives, create all manner chaos, confusion and chuckles.
Directed by seasoned amateur actress Karen Whittingham - the play stars society regulars Dave Stokes and Carey Esthop, Rachel Eddlestone, Simon Cooper amd Sandra Harrold, Lee Morgan-Salcombe and Martin Francis.
Newcomers Liam Cullinan and Tom Dallway will also be taking to the stage.
