DUDLEY libraries are on course to offer help to the estimated 35,000 carers in the borough.
Staff in all Dudley Council-run libraries have completed the carer aware course, which was launched earlier this year and sets out the role of the carer, their rights and services to support them in the borough.
All 13 borough libraries can now display a ‘carer aware’ sticker to show staff have completed the course and are able help carers of relatives and friends with a long term illness, disability or age related frailty, find the support or information they need.
