AWARD winning group WEAK13 are calling on Stourbridge fans to take part in their latest music video.

The grunge metal band collected the best music video award in the London Limelight Film and Arts Awards last year for the big-budget production which accompanied their single Wake Down.

The new song, called Don’t You Love Me, promises to be another blockbuster with 170 fans and friends in the crowd along with ten actors playing unusual roles and guest appearances from musicians Becky Rose and Christina Maynard.

WEAK13 frontman, Nick J Townsend, said: “It is going to be a serious video shoot but there will be plenty of humour as well.

“The song is about love, a lot of people have been kind to me over the years and I wanted to show a bit of love back.”

Volunteers who are selected to take part in the video shoot, which will be happening in Stourbridge on Saturday February 26, will be asked to wear clothes from the 70s,80s or 90s, or just to arrive dressed in the strangest possible costumes.

The shoot will be directed by film maker Martyn Kilvert who has worked on three previous WEAK13 videos.

The video will feature dramatic special effects similar to those in Wake Down, which were provided by Trinity Pyrotechnics Ltd and arranged by Matt Harley from Kidderminster.

Anyone interested in taking part in the video should email a small recent photo of themselves and a contact telephone number to weak13@live.co.uk, successful applicants will be contacted before 11am on Saturday.
