A STOURBRIDGE mum’s business won the backing of a TV dragon who chose her company for star tweetment.

Sarah Lewis, who runs Bookkeeping Boutique in Ashdene Gardens, was mentioned by millionaire Theo Paphitis on the social networking site Twitter which has 172,000 followers.

As well as a his role in the BBC show Dragon’s Den, retail tycoon Theo Paphitis is a keen supporter of small businesses who promotes six of his favourite firms online each week.

Sarah Lewis says: “I was shocked to be selected as it was the first week I’d entered Theo’s review. It’s great to receive his support, as bookkeeping doesn’t always get the recognition it deserves as a means to boost business performance.”

After the birth of her second child, accountant Sarah, aged 37, began Bookkeeping Boutique to fit her job around the demands of family life.

She said: “Setting up my own home-based business has enabled me to find a better balance between work and the needs of my young family.”
