AROUND 80 fitness fans marked the start of the Olympics with a splash of colour at a Wollaston gym.
The Fitness Factory, Bradley Road, created its own piece of games history with a mural to commemorate the opening day of London 2012.
During the event, on July 27, youngsters turned out to colour in a design on the wall of the building by artists Sonnia Wheatley and Kelly Angel.
Fitness Factory manager, Gemma Webster, said: " I was overwhelmed by the turnout, and the enthusiasm and energy of the children was amazing. They all showed their support for Team GB."
The centre also hosted a day of Olympic-themed games which was officially opened by gym member Jack Roberts from Norton, who celebrated his tenth birthday on the same day.
