DUDLEY Council tenants are invited to an inter-borough house swapping event in Halesowen on Thursday.
The aim of the event is to find bigger homes for tenants living in over-crowded properties and smaller properties for those who are looking to downsize.
Councillor Steve Waltho, cabinet member for housing, said: “Our housing needs change at different stages in our lives such as when we have a growing family or as we get older. Another factor that’s having an impact on people at the moment are the changes brought about by the welfare reforms.
"Whatever the reasons for moving, our speed matching events provide tenants with the help and support they need to meet other tenants who may want to swap properties or to find out about other housing options.”
The event will take place at Halesowen Library, from 10am to 6.30pm.
