A TEMPORARY police and crime commissioner has been appointed for the West Midlands, following the death of Bob Jones.
Yvonne Mosquito, who served as deputy PCC to Mr Jones, will hold the position until August 28.
A by-election will take place on August 21.
Mr Jones died suddenly at his Wolverhampton home, on July 1, aged 59.
A celebration of his life will take place next Wednesday (July 23) at Wolverhampton Civic Hall.
The event starts at 1pm and is open to all.
Mr Jones' family have requested people wear red instead of black.
