SELF-styled comedy Queen of the Black Country Doreen hopes to give Her Majesty a run for her money this Christmas - having recorded her own festive message for loyal fans.

The spoof figure, created by Quarry Bank playwright David Tristram and played by Walsall actress Gill Jordan, won fans worldwide after she bemoaned a life on benefits in a YouTube video that went viral in 2012 - and since then she's had her own stage show, a movie about Doreen is currently in production and she's just published her autobiography From Rug-Rats to Riches.

And now she aims to rival the Royals this Christmas - having recorded her very own seasonal speech, which can be seen on YouTube.
