PREPARATIONS are under way for a Quarry Bank Secondary Modern Boys School reunion.
The nostalgic event is being organised by Mike Hamblett, who has issued an open invitation to those who attended or worked at the school between 1932 and 1977.
Former pupils of Quarry Bank Girls School are also welcome to attend.
Mr Hamblett said: "I reached my 60th birthday this year and I thought it would be a great idea to try to get as many of us that are left together for a grand reunion.
"I tracked down my old form master Philip Millward who is helping me in the quest.
"It was a tough school but for me but I received a fantastic education there and would like to pay tribute to all the teachers and staff and pupils of the school for giving me a great start in life."
The event will take place at 7.30pm on February 23 at The Robin 2 in Bilston, which is owned by Mr Hamblett.
Anyone who wishes to attend should email their full name and period they attended the school to music@therobin.co.uk using the subject QB bash or call 01902 401211.
