A STOURBRIDGE fire crew have extinguished an electrical fire in a Brierley Hill man-hole pit this morning.
The Parkfield Road firefighters were called to a substation in Barbrook Drive at 9.30am as a small fire had broken out in a junction box in the road next to the station.
A carbon dioxide (CO2) extinguisher was used to put out the flames.
The area was cordoned off from pedestrians and the West Midlands Fire Service crew have now left the incident in the hands of the electric board.
