LYE based Midlands Air Ambulance Charity boosted its funds by more than £1,000 after supporters staged a charity day at Stonebridge Golf Club.
The charity is now busy organising a 24-hour survival challenge designed by Bear Grylls over Dartmoor on October 24.
Sofia Voutianitis, Jon Cottrel and Helen Stevens from the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity will be taking on the challenge - during which they will learn life-saving skills and attitudes such as resourcefulness and keeping calm under pressure.
