BLACK Country character Marlene Watson will be treating mums to her own particular brand of humour when she appears at a special afternoon tea party in support of Mary Stevens Hospice.
Marlene will be the star turn at a Mother's Day event taking place at the Copthorne Hotel in Brierley Hill this Sunday (March 6).
Quarry Bank-born Marlene shot to fame in 2014 after her daughter helped her to upload a YouTube video of her jokes, told in her trademark Black Country accent, which proved an instant hit.
Tickets for the tea party cost £15 and can be obtained from the hospice fundraising office on 01384 377778.
